Before working at Veracity, Hayes worked as an Amazon warehouse worker, a content writer for software consultancy SelectHub, and a freelancer for several publications across the Mile High City, such as the Denver Urban Spectrum newspaper, Westword newspaper, The Denver Center for the Performing Arts, and more.

Outside of work, Hayes enjoys reading, spending time with family, writing poetry, attending services at his church, eating good food, and watching classic movies.
