Whether you’re a full-time DJ with gigs every weekend, or you only DJ at one-time events, Insurance Canopy has an insurance policy for you. Our application process is quick, easy, and quote-free. You can receive instant coverage and be ready for your next event.
Insurance Canopy provides two different DJ insurance policies—DJ event insurance, and DJ annual insurance. Today we’ll cover the differences between the two and how you can get insured.
DJ Insurance Annual Policy
The annual policy of DJ insurance from Insurance Canopy can be purchased at $18.50 per month or $192 per year. If you’re booking multiple events each year and your venues are wanting to be added as additional insureds, this policy is for you! Add unlimited additional insureds for $10 or one for $5 on our annual and event policies. Add coverage for your gear, equipment, and tools of the trade for only $40 or $60 more (depending on how much coverage you want), —which protects your DJ equipment in transit between events and at the actual event. If your equipment were to get stolen or damaged, this coverage may cover the costs to replace your expensive equipment; including your speakers, laptops, tablets, turntables, and more.
You can fill out an easy online application here for the DJ insurance annual policy.
DJ Insurance Event Policy
As a DJ, you are well aware that last minute gigs come up and it’s a great way to earn some extra cash for your business. When you’re dealing with last minute events, you need to work fast to get everything ready to go. Insurance Canopy’s DJ event policy is active for 1–3 days and only costs $59. This is ideal for one-time events, such as weddings, parties, corporate events, and more. You can have the coverage you need, all while staying within your budget. Keep in mind, however, that inland marine insurance (for coverage on your equipment) is not available for the DJ event policy.
Get Insured Today
You can’t predict the future or hope that everything will go right during your gig. At any sort of event, there is the chance that an accident occurs, which you could be held liable for. In some serious cases, guests could place the blame on you and your business could be in jeopardy. With the help of insurance, your policy may be able to pick up the pieces from a liability claim and it’s a proactive way to protect your company.
On the bright side, you can concentrate on your business and figure out how to make it even better instead of worrying about what can go wrong. One great benefit of having insurance for DJs is it can be used as your financial safety net. Invest in your DJ business today, so it can be protected tomorrow.
