Santa Claus insurance provides financial protection from liability claims arising from your business operation, including bodily injury, property damage, or loss of personal property. An Insurance Canopy policy can protect you from the job-related risks and claims you could face when working as Kris Kringle during the holidays.
You can get our Santa insurance coverage for single events (1-3 days) or buy an annual policy. So it’s perfect for your short- or long-term coverage needs for private holiday parties, malls, school events, corporate activities, and more. Wherever you share Christmas cheer, you can feel confident in your coverage.
As a Santa or Mrs. Claus, you face all kinds of risks. A child could fall off your lap and get injured, your props could damage a venue’s floor, or someone could have an allergic reaction to candy or mistletoe—and you may be held liable! Santa Claus liability insurance can protect you from Grinchy risks and claims like these.
Plus, some venues require you to provide proof of insurance before working on their premises. Venues and event organizers may even require that you add them as an additional insured. Santa Claus liability insurance gives you and your additional insureds a layer of defense against claims, lawsuits, and upset customers.
Our 1-3 day event general liability insurance starts at $59 with unlimited additional insureds for only $10. If you need coverage for more than three events a year, choose our annual policy starting at $199. You can add equipment and gear coverage to annual plans for an additional fee, covering up to $5,000 if your business props or costumes get damaged or stolen.
Note: Gear and equipment coverage is ONLY available under the annual policy—it’s perfect for those who use their own Santa props, costumes, and supplies for events and appearances.
A 1-3 day event policy for Santa Claus liability insurance includes coverage for general liability, product-completed operations, personal and advertising injury, occurrence limits, and coverage for damage to premises rented to you.
Unlimited additional insureds can be added to your policy for a small fee of $5. Our annual Santa Claus liability insurance policy also offers additional coverage options, such as equipment and gear coverage and higher limit options.
Liability insurance doesn’t cover damage to your equipment. But you can add equipment and gear coverage (aka inland marine) for an extra $7.50-$15 under the annual policy of our Santa Claus liability insurance, which starts at $199. It provides from $2,000 to $5,000 in equipment and gear coverage for damage or theft per policy year.
Note: This coverage ONLY exists under the annual policy.
